Constant real-time monitoring
Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows Mobile is launched automatically as soon as an
operating system is loaded.
Each file received by a device during synchronization or downloaded via
GPRS/Infrared/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/USB is checked for viruses "on-the-fly". If an
infected object is detected, it will be temporarily blocked by Dr.Web
monitor with a corresponding message displayed to a user, who will have
three options for the infected object: ignore, delete, move to Quarantine.
All activities of the monitor are logged..
Flexible scanner configuration
A user can perform an on-demand scan at any moment.
There are two types of scan: full scan or scan selected files and folders.
All files available on the device are scanned with a full scan, otherwise
you can select files and folders you want to scan. After the scan is over
one can ignore, delete or move infected objects to Quarantine. One can also
enable/disable monitoring for memory cards.
Quarantine
Quarantine directory used to store infected files is created during
installation of the product Later the files can be placed back to their
original location or deleted by a user.
Update
Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows Mobile can be updated in one of the following
ways:
- via http using a built-in GPRS module
- using Infrared/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/USB connection
- using ActiveSync connection when synchronize with a PC
The software is updated manually.
This product is not for sale. Free license to Dr.Web anti-virus for Windows Mobile is given to all registred users of Dr.Web for Windows.
A licence is given per a mobile device — Pocket PC and/or a communicator.
If you have lost the device or decided to get another one, you can use your
product serial number to get an activation key and run Dr.Web Anti-virus for
Windows mobile on the new device.
